The Nature of our Products
While there are many, many assessment tools available in the field of mental health, very few of them are useful to most providers and professionals that work in this field such as therapists, primary care doctors, teachers, school administrators, human resources professionals and public safety officials. Most of the available products today are expensive, time consuming and require experts or specialists to administer, interpret and score. Dashometrics products, by comparison are brief, affordable and relevant to our user’s needs. They are usually both diagnostic and therapeutic or solution-suggestive at the same time. Our products are always designed to be easy to use and interpret so that experts or expensive interpretation aids are not required. Most of our products are also designed to be research compatible so that our users can use them either for internal trend research or as part of broader data bases. Finally, through our insistence on continuing feedback our users are always helping us make our products even better. |

“Almost all Dashometrics, LLC products are inspired by common clinical situations I have personally experienced or by situations that my clients or other providers have experienced. My goal is to help develop products that are accessible, non-pathologizing whenever possible, and that work. I trust providers that use these products will see the clinical practicality of them. All of these products are developed through a series of stages in which we get input from all the parties involved in using them. At the same time, the process of improving them is on-going and it is our user’s feedback that is single most important resource in making them better.”
Stan is also the developer of the ground breaking Integrated Mood Management system of treating mood disorders. Stan received a BS in Business Administration in 1978 from University of the Pacific, a JD in 1983 from the University of Minnesota School of Law, and an MA in psychology (including the extended LMFT track) at the University of St. Thomas in 2005. He resides in Woodbury, Minnesota and has three adult children. Stan enjoys playing guitar, maniacal bicycling and deep-diving for ultra-geeky YouTube videos. |
SAMANTHA FRANKLIN, MA, LMFT
Sam is a colleague of Mr. Thiele co-facilitating mood management and anger management groups together. Sam currently provides outpatient therapy services at a private practice to adolescents and adult, as well as couples and families. She has past experience working in residential, school and community-based settings. She also has a background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Sam enjoys clinical work with relational issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, anger management, and LGBTQIAP+ individuals and families. After using these assessment and intervention tools in my practice, I have seen how helpful they are not only to myself as a clinician, but to my clients as well. These tools have provided insight, and are a great way to begin difficult and therapeutic conversations with individuals and between family members and partners.”
